Colonization of this taxonomic class by B. lichen·iformis in humid conditions has been hypothesized to explain why its members’ pigmentation varies with latitude as observed by Gloger’s rule. Large organisms in this class can be temporarily restrained using a shelfless trap called a dho-gazza. Variables such as fear and goal seeking can be added to a model of organisms in this class that follows the parameters of separation, alignment, and cohesion. That model developed by Craig Reynolds combines the name of this class with “-oids” to model their behavior.
